****en nice, 2 games up at once, almost thinks you can play a link game using 2 monitors,

you should donate some to me =p i can only get ff10-2 and ff10 to run bout 9 frames during heavy movement, and 16-20 during battles/standing still.

Haha nice1, I had to try it myself too, not too bad of an AMD cpu.

I know we're not using same position for KH1 as I'm not sure which place that is.

I went a bit further just for the fun of it, 3 and 4 sessions at same time! LOL

Should be a nice stress test for CPU haha, I feel a bit sorry for the comp. But damn nice fps rates nonetheless, better than expected.

Conroe setups shine only in PCSX2 when paired with nice DDR2 sticks running at DDR2-800 4-4-4-10 or faster speeds/tighter ram timings as RAM latency/timings matter quite a lot PCSX2. In PC games ram bandwidth (ie mostly higher frequency/clock) plays a greater role so there's a bigger advantage there for Conroe systems.

So those pictures are from a Conroe system? So you built a Core 2 system as of today?

No it's still my AMD system in sign. But I'd like to have a Conroe setup tho but my current setup is good enough at least until K8L arrives perhaps.

But I know RAM timings matter quite a lot when I've compared for my personal interest, value ram DDR1 timings 3-4-4-8 with 2-2-2-5 for example and at same time I've compared ~200MHz and 233MHz with 255MHz ram speed and letting cpu speed and ram timings stay the same and difference was almost none. DDR1 sticks has a slight advantage in PCSX2 over DDR2 as it favors low latency not bandwidth. Expensive DDR2 sticks that can do ~DDR2 425 - 450MHz @ 4-4-4-x or 4-3-4-x with 1T command rate will prolly do just fine in PCSX2 too but only overclocking and performance entusiasts usually spend that much money on RAM.

keep distance from asrock boards 4 core2duo.... i recommend an asus or gigabyte board - the C2D have such oc potential - that's amazing.

my cpu have 62% more performance - if i had better RAM or a better cooler (artic cooler 7 atm.) i can reach higher values - for sure

my old cpu was an 3800+ X2 - thats so a big difference between thoose 2 cpu's - incredible...

but for now a bit to slow to emulate resident evil 4 at full speed (most time the game runs with round about 40-50 fps per second - in this stupid wood level - hope i reach soon any indoor level).

oh and btw. - i only use Pal games (just 50 fps needed to get full speed - for ntsc u must reach 60 frames per second)

Wow!! How can you ran 4 games at the same time?!! I have a very powerful cpu too, but since my ram is a bit old, will it decrease performance in games? I have only 1 GB DDR 400 because my motherboard is socket 939.
I will try running 6 games at the same time.
The games that i will try are:
Kingdom Hearts 1 PAL
Resident Evil 4 PAL
Clock Tower 3 NTSC
Inspector Gadget Mad Robots Invansion PAL
Rumble Roses PAL
Teken 4 PAL
I will try it tomorow and i will post some screens!!
