I your GPU getting hot ? If Yes it's working. overlay can hardly heat anything. mine is going from 40° to 90°. Also other hints like Pixel Shader required etc are showing it's not software render. seems like I was slow in PS answer that's coz I was LOLing a lot. Why.

- pixelshaders are programs which are run per pixel to change it's properties/color. they can't speed up memory transfers (as they are used only during rendering and they're mostly slowing things down) - try software renderer in GSDX9 how fast (slow) it is. CPU is not RISC processor and performs poorly for these kind of actions. - ask ZeroFrog to give out sources of ZeroGS I also would like to look at them, however for different purpose ![]() And I still wonder why ? You must have some reason to think of it (maybe it's slow, it's FFX-2 bluescreen texture over background)

The GS plugins (well GSdx9 anyways, I haven't seen code for ZeroGS) do some rendering on the CPU, but not as much as you might think. Mostly the CPU is used to perform the memory transfers and overhead stuff, while the GPU is accessed through DX9 (or OGL in future plugins). |

Yes. The devs have stated several times that there will be (is?) an OGL plugin in the works. Don't ask when though ![]() I'm hoping it will be OpenSource so I can explore it. I'm disappointed that ZeroGS isn't open since it is the only plugin that supports MTGS...
