You to have at least a dual core in order to get acceptable speeds in PCSX2. The video card is ok, but the processor is not a dual core, which could help things greatly.

Sorry for asking this 'noob' question,but...what is 'dual core' thingy?And...if I do upgrade it or whatsoever to 'dual core' system, will it change the frame per second to constant 40~50?

OK, Dual Cores are processors in which there are two "cores" these cores are the one doing the program execution, which means by theory could mean that if you have a dual core processor you could execute a program twice as fast by seperating the load to the two processors. Upgrade? Simple, change the processor inside your computer and change it to a dual core processor. Provided your motherboard supports it. The cheapest right now is a core2duo e6300 which sells for about 170$. But most people here suggest the e6600 which costs at least 300 dollars. Will it improve the FPS to a constant 50 to 60FPS? No. The people with the fastest processors here can't do that. So it's unlikely that upgrading your processor will improve it to that point.
