Kingdom Hearts in 0.9.2
I'm getting really dope speeds (40+ fps), but the audio's kinda jumpy and stuff. Any thoughts on what audio plugin/settings I should use? Right now, I'm using that default P.E.Op.S SPU2 DSound Driver 1.6.0 with whatever settings were the default, I haven't messed with it at all. But yeah, any thoughts?

It's jumpy if fps is low, that's normal, you can always try use the the "fastest" audio settings, ie no reverb and no interpolation and leave everything else disabled but it won't help almost anything tho. What's your computer specs btw.

40 fps is low now? ![]() as for specs, here they are (model = Dell XPS M170 notebook): - 2 GB DDR2 RAM (533 MHz, 2 DIMM) - 2.0 GHz Intel Pentium M processor (2 MB L2 cache, 533 MHz FSB) - 256 MB nVidia GeForce Go 7800 GTX graphics card - Windows XP Home Edition - 17" UXGA widescreen LCD (1920 x 1200 max resolution) - Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS sound card I think that's all the important stuff. |

Go to Pete's SPU2 plugin settings and uncheck Thread checkbox, witch 40fps, sound shuld be perfect without shuttering :o).

![]() the audio during the opening cinematic is very obviously skipping. video-wise, i'm getting about between 45 and 55 fps, but the audio is extremely jittery. |

call me a n00b, but what's the difference between the virtual memory version and the non-virtual memory version? here's my stab at it: the virtual memory uses the hard drive as RAM while the non-VM uses my rig's RAM itself? also, during the game itself, the sound seemed fairly smooth. might be just the opening cinema that has the jittery sound, i don't know yet. but yeah, that's the difference between the two PCSX2 versions, exactly?
