Problem, need help.
Hi there, so when I try to start the whole thing I gotta start it with PCsx2T. And when I do, it doesnt bring up the screen where I select an ISO. It just starts and brings me the two memory cards. And If I click 'Open Elf file', it brings up the box where I can select and ISO. And If I select and ISO, it still brings me the two memory cards. So does any1 know whats my problem? Im trying to get KH2 goingl. Not running VM version. How do I get that working? Last edited by izirath; December 13th, 2006 at 16:09.. |

Alright, the "open ELF" is used for loading ELF files and/or the SLUS/SLPS named files...... It is not used for loading ISOs. So probably you have misconfigured your plugins. Change your CD/DVD plugin and/or it's settings then try again. Where did you get the ISO?

Ok, Ill try that. And besides how do I use the VM version? Nah I burnt it off the original game. Hmm it works but runs on rly low fps. Like 3-5 fps. Really slow. Is it cause Im running the pcsx2T? If so how can I use the other version? Or is there any other way to make it faster? Last edited by izirath; December 13th, 2006 at 19:45.. |

If I remember correctly, Kingdom Hearts 2 doesn't benefit much from the VM version, so I'd expect worse performance using the VM version. Also KH2 isn't completely playable in the compability list if I remember correctly as well.

Save it for the next generation computer ![]() But, if you're really itching to burn money then the best system for PCSX2 seems be the Core 2 Duo E6400 or E6600 with a good graphics card (NV 7900 / ATI x1950). If you buy a good mobo and ram you should be able to overclock it significantly with stock cooling. Keep in mind that even the newest and most expensive desktop computers today are not able to run all games at full speed. |
