FFX video freeze...
Hey all, I got soo excited when i finally got my FFX to work but now i have another problem... After the blitz scene and when u first control tidus, you have that other scene with auroa right? Tidus always freezes on my comp after he encounters the lil boy and he meets auroa... Any ideas how to fix it? Also I still have the XML Patch Loader: could not load file 'patches default.xml' problem... please help!

oh sry bout tat... I have a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 processor 3700+ 2.21 ghz, 1.00 GB of RAM Windows XP NVIDIA Geforce 7900 GS My Config ZeroGS KOSMOS 0.96.0 AA off Bilinear off Interlace checked EEP Polling CDVD DRIVER 0.4.0 (for some reason P.E.OP.S CDVD isn't working...) P.E.OP.S SPU2 Sound Driver hope this will help... |

The 'default.xml' warning is not a serious issue, it doesn't affect anything so ignore it. For the freezing, if you have them turned on then turn off MTGS and DC and then load from a save-game, not a "save-state". Also, have you tried just waiting 15 minutes to see if it starts moving again? Sometimes it's not really 'frozen'. |

yah its the same exact problem... but the only problem is for some reason P.E.OP.S CDVD wont work for me... it just crashes when i play with it so i have no choice to play FFX with EEP polling...

It's not that you have to use the original disk when using peops, you can still use the iso (created by another cddvd plugin and then mounted with daemon tools for instance, loading is much faster that way)... but as long I use the peops plugin FFX does not crash, all other plugins caused a crash at the exact same "look!" spot. |
