If you're desperate it *is* playable with those specs, but you'll be looking at 15-20 FPS, meaning you'll play in slow-motion. Then again, this will increase the amount of time you'll be having fun with the game eh

Well.... to behonest some games like Phantom Brave (runs perfectly ) and Disagea 2 (FMV's suffer) run playable...I found FFX to be not too bad , just FMV's are nasty... I got a AMD 3500+ with 2 gigs RAM and a 7900 GT 512 v card...so I would say it depends on what you try run and how much tolerance to inperfections in your fave PS 2 game you will tolerate.

just wait for new versions of pcsx2.
those hardeware specs should be good enough to run ps2 games, but not with a early stadium emulator.

Where did you ever hear any of the devs say something like that? Dont just say things as a guess because then people seem to expect it.

Actually ZeroFrog in his blog about 64bit recompilation, is saying
"Pcsx2 will run much faster on a 64bit OS than on a 32bit OS on the same computer once x86-64 recompilation is done." so he's partialy true.

I know what You are pointing at, however sometimes I feel all of You mods are bit hard/impulsive [I have read that post in bios version/speed before You edited it ] (And I can guess why, no offence here)

Your right but I thought only the 775 socket P4's had it not 478 which the topic creator has.

"e6300@2800
x1900xt
2 gb ram 800 mhz"

So, you're asking "Will games run decently on one of the fastest desktops purchasable"? Search around.

First... im argentinian so.. mi english can be a little creepy, sory.

Second, i know the answer is "ovbious" but i prefer to be sure before spend money on games i'll never play. And someone tell me (few seconds ago ) that my Ati card maybe got some compatibility issues with pcsx2, is that right?.

Thx anyway.
