GT2 and Downloaded Memory Card

Hi, I've downloaded a couple of .gme save game files from gamefaqs, and converted it to .mcr with psxmemtool, and nothing happened, It's like ePSXe doesn't recognize any memory card, and when I go to "Load Game" Option, it says "ERROR: No Game File Found"... anyone knows why happens that?

I try also to change te .gme extension to .mcr, someone in the forum told it works, but it's the same problem.

Downloaded gme extensions have 131kb in size, while .mcr files have 128kb. Or maybe I didn't converted very well the files with psxmemtool, i just loaded save games, and selected then save as... (.mcr)

SOLVED: I Just changed the region with PSXmemtool, but I changed the code number for the game, 02380 instead of 12380 (SCES), I have the EU version.

I just found only one thing: Some of the cars appears with a different HP that the one it should have, IE: Toyota GT-One 99' = 202 hp (¿?¿¿?) AND game recognizes the car with that hp! I just mean... car really have 202hp, so... it runs like a s**t.

Maybe if I found saves from the EU version will be a bit different...

anyway, thanks.

I think that might be a game glitch there....not sure though. If you picked it up on the memory card, then yeah it could be a memory card problem.
