turn on FPS limit in your GPU plugin.

Hey guys,

I"m a new user, and I guess I can't post new topics yet, so I'm just going to post in an existing topic. I hope this isn't off-topic.

I'm having trouble with ePSXe. I'm new to emulating as a whole(but I have been doing some 64, and snes emulating), so I"m not sure what to do with a psx emulating.

When I click on Run ISO, I get an error message saying: That ISO is not completely configured(or something like that), Go to Config>Video. So I click on Config>Video, and it asks me for a Video Plug-in. So am I missing something?

I downloaded the emulator off this one site(forget which one), and it had a plug in pack too. And it said to unsip the pack into the plugin folder of the ePSXe.

So is there something else that I need?

Thank you for any help. And again, sorry for posting this in an existing topic.

Well you should be able to make a new thread, have you verified your e-mail address?

Anyway read this thread to learn how to config ePSXe.

Cool, thank you very much for the thread link.

And yeah, I"ve verified my email address. I don't know why it won't let me make new threads. Anyways, thanks again.

Well, I re-downloaded ePSXe, and all the plug ins. And everything configures but the Video one again. When I go to Config>Video, there's nothing in there to config. Like for Sound and CD ones, there was already a name in there for me to configure.

But for Video, there isn't anything in there. I wonder why it won't.

If you can make posts, you can make a new thread. There are plenty of people that make their first post as a new thread (you've posted in such an example of one). You probably aren't pressing the right button. Go somewhere like this (the root of a section) and in the top left it says "new thread". That should be it.

Anyway, never download any of those "plugin pack" emulators, often times they contain way more plugins than you need (which will slow the emulator) or they are outdated, or both.

Just make your own thread, and we'll start this over. Post what game you're trying to play, your computer specs, and what plugins you're using.
