No he isn't. The more I think about it, the more fake it seems.

All I'm saying is the vast majority of people prefer the DS not the PSP

hm. the later screenshot posted by some new guy on the dcemu forums has a misplaced health bar. That, and one shot from above doesn't have one. That's fishy at least.

well looking at those shots..... i think is a fake!(hope am wrong) first because as a developer i know how dificult is to write a emulator. even if is real you couldnīt emulate the PSP that easy on a 1,3ghz computer.

1.a old 1,3ghz computer use very slow SD-Ram
2.even if you use a very good agp graphic-card you will not have anough power to emulate it at 30fps
3.fake those shots is very easy(look at the attached pics)
4.looking the shot with the settings window i could see something...."Backup registry everytime on quit" in my opinion it doesnīt make sense to backup your registry everytime(backing up the registry to send it to microsoft???)

anyway is my opinion....just hope he can probe me wrong... i will be happy if is like that.

cīmon! there are a lot of tutorials on the net if youīre interested in Emulation.

This is a flat-out fake. 30FPS? 1.3Ghz? Right.

Oh, hey @ruantec-Man, when are you gonna release that emu? FakePSPemu looks like the r0xx0r! /sarcasm

Maybe is a fake maybe not.

But you are taking the shots as a probe of your theories, and the guys told many times that the fps counter is broken. As he told in his first post "The game is VERY SLOW". He said that there were repeated frames, etc.

And the guy hasn't tell anything about a full working emu, he just tell that "Daxter" and not any other game works (maybe he has been focusing only on one game).
And another 1 thing, he has been working in the emu since the firmware of the PSP was able to be dumped (I don't know how much, but it seems long ago xD)

Again, can be fake or not. But better wait and see.

Hmm, smells of fake, IMO. I wonder when he will get "upset" at critics and stop the development of his emulator. Or maybe he will get an (imaginary) cease and desist from Sony that will "prevent" him from unleashing his awesome software on the masses

I wish I was wrong, but this is too good to be true...

i still has some doubt about this emu. but there´s something that could be true... looking at the shots i could see the memory usage which is different on every pic. maybe is real.....maybe not. the time will answer all our questions. anyway i still don´t get why he need to backup the registry on exit....

if it's indeed a fake (and yes, I do think it is), at least it's a pretty good one, as no one is 100% sure yet.
