Image Quality Showdown: ATI vs NVIDIA August '06
Saw this interesting article today. At Firingsquad where they tested an ATI x1950xt versus a Geforce 7900gtx, comparing the image quality of both. In the end is for personal preference, although I liked the way the Nvidia shots looked more. Hope you like this info.

Two things I will never understand in life are the Final Fantasy fanboys and the graphic whores. I just don't see a different to all of this.

Anyway, it's a pretty interesting article, Silenus. I haven't really read it, just skimmed and looked at the comparison pictures (I'll do it later, too late right now. Work in the morning etc). I agree, it's pretty much a downright tie, so it all boils down to personal preference. I myself would like to get my hands on one of those X1950xt's. |

Thanks for sharing this link. It's an interesting article, it kinda clearly pointed out that ATi gives a somewhat more washed/blurry look with its AA at times, while nVidia tends to do things more bold getting better contrast and more detail, perhaps slightly at the extense of smoothness (which can be viewed as blurry by others) I prefer the nVidia graphics, but this comparison is definately not a decisive factor when having to choose a new GPU. Because if I'd have only one graphics card, and no way to compare it to an nVidia directly, I wouldn't care about the differences. Performance and price are more important to me.

Thanks guys! That's right Cid, besides right now I would invest on a Conroe, than a Dx9 card where DX10 is so near.
