Problem playing Valkyrie Profile

in ePSXe 1.5 I have a problen in chapter 5 when i try to transfer Lucian and start de movieclip the sound of the voices stop and i can can contiune (\\/|-|47 7|-|3 |=|_|<|<!!!!) then i try in the ePSXe 1.7 but its the same somebody what happen and how fix it.
i already using the eternal spu 1.4 and i have problems too

use ePSXe 1.6.0 and use the ePSXe sound plug in it might get though...... i had problems getting though but i got pass that part XD
