changing ff7 orgin country?

Hi,
Heres the story: I recently got ff7 to play for the third time, and since I lost my other one, I bought one from e-bay. The version I got was the European release, I played through the entire game, until I got the the 3rd disc, and when I went to try to fight Ruby Weapon, I couldn't find it, I found out that hes only on the internation and us release, so I got the us version hoping I'd be able to load the save file from there, but when I load a save I made on the european version(via the emulaters save function) on to the amercian version, the game emulater freezes and gives errors when I try to leave/enter a room/town(if im on the world map), and the save doesnt even show up at all if I try to load the memory card save. So, I wanted to know if there was any way to get it to work, I was wondering if there might be a save game converter or something, I'm willing to try anything, I spent a lot of time playing already, and I don't have enough time to replay the entire game again.

Do not use savestate, use memorycard and convert it to other version
with PSXmemtool (you must know the game code which is on cd (eg. SLPM_123.45) btw: the files on FF7 cd are hidden).

Don't PM or ask me about VMP-MCR conversions. I will ignore you if you do.
