You mean making backup copies of your game, well use nero and select Copy entire disc.

Nero will only work for backing up PC games, without copy protection, You are talking about PC Games Right?

If it contains A copy Protection, such as Safedisc, Securom, or Starforce. You'll need to know how to make a "Perfect" DPM image with latest Alcohol, or blindwrite, then burn the image back to a CD/DVD, and use The Latest Daemon-Tools (4.03), to Emulate the Copy Protection.

I heard on the Daemon-Tools forums, That games with latest Starforce, are almost unable to be copied, or make a working backup image of, Although I did here someone found another loophole in their Copy Protection.

Now if it's a PS2 game you are trying to copy, most of them can be copied seamlessly with nero, or any other CD/DVD Burning app.

PSX CD's, you might have problems with, I couldn't burn any of my PSX games with Nero, It said, "Unrecoverable Read Error at Sector xx, but I downloaded the free 21 day trial of blindwrite, and all worked out perfectly

i wonder if you're copying these games off a friend or something rather than backing them up...in that case, with all the skrilla you're "saving" off pirating games, can't you buy a decent program?

anyway, you have to pay for all the good programs anyway. nero isn't even free...

Don't think that it's funny here to brag about piracy.

I wouldn't be complacent with a one-solution-fits-all hammer especially with titles coming infected with crap like starforce; find out about the title you are trying to back up and see if these people have had any issues.

Totally agree! I still use my old Nero Burning Rom 6.whatever for making disks because it is the best.
