FFIV keeps freezing

it freezes every couple of minutes :cuss2:
and I do not understand the processor thing the help file says about

Try to play the game with P.E.Op.S soft plugin.
If that doesn't work try playing in pSX emulator.

But the best thing you could do is to play SNES version of the game on some SNES emulator like ZSNES.
