I'm playing Final Fantasy 9 on ePSXe, and although the game itself sounds great, oftentimes the music doesn't sound like it did on my Playstation before it broke (thus my need to use ePSXe in the first place). I tried testing a couple other games, and they all suffer from the same fault. It's not like the music is choppy or missing, it's just different. Almost like I'm listening to a MIDI version of the music. Anyone know what I could try to do? Thanks in advance. |

What sound plugin are you using? what settings? try P.E.Ops Dsound plugin with SPU IRQ hack. If you use the ePSXe spu core the music WILL suck. If you are using Eternal SPU make sure to check the option "update before accessing registry"
