Speed problem in VBA with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

When I play FFTA, I use the speed button a lot. However, VBA ALWAYS runs at 500-700%. I have tried the previous 4 versions of the emulator, but it always runs way too fast. How would I go about slowing this down to 200-250%? Thanks.

Options - fram skip - throttle - 200% (or others) (don't worry, it won't skip frames)
