3PC LAN connection help

I want to connect 3 pc on LAN. I'm not using HUB. pc A with onboard LAN, pc B with onboard LAN+pci LAN card and pc(laptop) C with onboard LAN. The connection is A-B-C. A-B is connected. B-C is connected. B connected to A & C. But the problem is pc A is not connected to C. How to solve this? I'm manually insert IP with 169.254.XXX.YYY for three of them with different YYY. It's seem like at pc B, onboard LAN didn't connected to pci LAN card.

usually you must bridge them to work correctly.

yeh they are 2 seperate networks (no physical connection) so you have to turn your PC into a hub by bridging, altho to be honest youd be better off with a hub or router (router preferred) if you have ADSL you could get an ADSL router, or there is Cable routers too if you need that, then all the pcs connect to a central point, the net is always on and you dont need PC B on for the network to work

Hmm... I'd say the other guys are about right. You need to bridge your connection. While Windows can do this, it likely does not do it well (wasn't designed with this in mind). You really need to get yourself a switch.

switch is quite cheap and won't bog your cpu 'B' resources.
