I think that card should support up to pixel shader 1.4.
You can try for yourself, in PCSX2 config select GSdx9 plugin and click test, also
you can find out in some diagnostic program like everest.

Don't PM or ask me about VMP-MCR conversions. I will ignore you if you do.

a new graphics card makes no use i think, a normal graphics(NV6200,ATI 9550 card is enough

Yeah it should work, why don't you just test it for yourself?

interesting fact: Did you know that when the p4 was first invented, it was expected to reach max clock speeds of 10GHz+? but it never reached passed 4.. shame.

Anyways, i'm having this same problem with my emulator. I have an Nvidia GeForce 6400 128Mb RAM(or it could be 64, i haven't checked in a while XD) so i KNOW that should be working. My processor is an x86 Pentium 4 2.66 gigahertz processor, i have 512 ram, a 160 Gig HD, as far as i know, my machine should be up tp the task of taking on this emulator. At first, i thought it might be the BIOS, so i "upgraded" from SCPh1001 to SCPH7505( i think it's that, but i know it's 7 something...) I've checked out Emuzone for some of the plugins, and i've alsu used Delta 2 to set up my ePSXe and Pcsx2 stuff. all my bios seem fine, my gfx plugins seem fine, i try to stay away from null plugins, seeing as how they do just that: NULL

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Love, Exurion.

your processor its very outdated, and very crappy to run pcsx2 at decent speeds, the same as your graphics card, the problem with gs plugin its very weird, cause the 6400 support ps 2.0 and 3.0, update your drivers and directx, but like i said, it will run very slow, maybe 2d games will run at decent speed but i doubt it

in conclusion, better use your ps2
