res evil 2 - how to cheat?

hi.. hope im posting in the right section

i found psx cheats for resident evil 2
but i cant get em working when play re2 with epsx emulator :/

cheat says like : hold R1 button and press [] *square* 10 times

but it doesnt work D:

anyone know ? or cant i cheat with emu?

Well anyway, you can use [PEC], it is the best cheating utility.

cant get cheats to work :/
dunno .. in the list there is RE2
i have the RE2 dual shock edition... maybe thats why :/

EDIT ::: got cheats working now - found some other descriptions that worked

hope i still can get the A ranking

Why bother with cheats when you could just download a save game from gamefaqs and have all the bonuses that way?

That would kind of defeat the whole purpose of cheating...

How so, you'd still be getting all the additions for the game without earning them and you don't have to mess around hitting keys.
