Gamers rejoice. Fairfield hosts the annual CinciClassic Classic Gaming Show Friday and Saturday, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Taking center stage are thousands of classic video games, from Pong to Asteroids to Pac-Man and yes, even Frogger

Featured retro-gaming classics at the show include infamous consoles from the '70s and '80s (Atari, Intellivision and Colecovision), all the way to Super Nintendo and SegaCD. Current-generation video game systems such as the highly anticipated Microsoft Xbox 360, are also featured.

Those who attend this free event can buy, sell and trade games with other attendees, or purchase classic games from local vendors.

Started in 1992 and based in Cincinnati, the Classic Gaming Show has only become more popular as the years have passed - much like the video games. But even if you have never heard of SegaCD or don't know what Colecovision is, the show offers a keen insight into the history of the popular gaming phenomenon.

Friday, April 7th

Saturday, April 8th
9:00a.m.: Show Begins
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.: Open gameplay, buy/sell/trade
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.: Registration for Head to Head, 4 player, and Team tournaments
9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Trivia Contest (fill out, hand in)
9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.: High Score Tournament (game TBA)
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m: 4 Player Tournament (game TBA)
12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.: Break for Lunch
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: 2 player Head to Head Tournament (game TBA)
4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Auction
5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Break in formal activities for dinner
6:45 p.m.: Winners annouced for Trivia, High Score
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.: Team Tournament (game TBA, partners by random draw)
9:00 p.m. - 11:00p.m.: Ten Player Bomberman / Deathtank. Show Wrap-up.
11:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.: Show ends. Clean-up.
