The second is well known in the Saturn emulation scene. Guillaume, the lead developper behind Yabause, and the rest of the team will pick up DeSmuME and completly convert it to C. The project, which will be kept under the same name, will be hosted on SourceForge.

More information will be available once Guillaume makes an official annoucement.

[Update] The sourceforge page is now up. You can check out its website here :
http://desmume.sourceforge.net/index.html

this is the info thats on www.ngemu.com

It's great to hear the emu is back up and running. It's something I noticed recently, but alot of emu projects have halted/ceased. Not to complain or anything, but it's just refreshing to hear that a promising project that halted is operational once more.

The only problem I sometimes have with that is that you can't reach them through the forums, I don't visit the mainpage that much myself because more news can be found at the forums and most discussion take place here. But creating a thread here after it has been posted on the main page isn't needed indeed
