It can help you make different settings for different games like keyboard config,audio and video settings etc. The best one i used is Delta 2.01 which applies the best known settings for the games with known issues. |

a frontend is a program that controls the actual program. the ones for ePSXe can do a lot of stuff, including autoplay, easier execution of command lines, customized settings profiles, etc etc. there's ePSXecutor, Delta, and others, go have a look and see if you like em.
