epsxe not closing right

tryed playing final fantasy 8 (works wonderfully)
but when i try to close it it doesnt exactly close the right way
as i speak the background music is still playing and lags when i open new windows anyways ... any suggestions on how to fix im open to them

first press escape to exit to the GUI, then close the GUI.
