I think it might be your video card. Try enabling the FF7 game fix and lowering/disabling frame buffer access. I couldn't get battle swirl to work with OGL1, but OGL2 works fine, although it needs pixel shader or something (at least GeForce4MX4400 works).

yeahhhhh your graphics card sucks. you'll probably never get the battle swirl to work properly on that card with a HW plugin, im afraid. try using Peops Soft GPU.

its ok im just glad to know that its my graphics card. i thought that i kept screwing up the configuration. hushypushy, i decided to try the Peops Soft GPU but i can seem to get the epsxe to recogize that its there. i put it in the plug-ins folder like im supposed to but when i go to the menu in config, then video, the pull down menu doesnt have Peops Soft GPU there and i dont know how to get it there, any help on that? USE AN ISO. Thatt should help speed upp your battle intros, as the cd will not have to spin up each time. |
