Since there's over 200 posts in this thread and I can't be bothered going past page 3, would this program work for models in other PS2 games? Or is it a "special" proprietary format, if Square uses such a thing in their games.

It would be nuts if there was such a thing for the Tekken series! You can't even get a model viewer for the PlayStation 1 versions! Sure there's things like file rippers but who can be bothered with such crap, then skinning the blank models in yet another outdated/buggy/unfriendly 3D program and ending up with wrong results. For the newer 3D programs, who, apart from the lucky rich b4stards here , can afford the ridiculous price tags on programs like 3DSMax.

Specs: Intel Celeron 2.8GHz | Windows XP Pro SP1 | 1GB DDR | ATi Radeon 9550 256MB - yes, this PC gets a nice 53FPS in Tekken 4 in PCSX2 0.9.4. Divided by 100!

i followed the whole thread and that brings me to one question.
you obtained the models and you are able to few/edit them so is it possible to export them into a format that is used by other games like ut 2004 or other games?
would be nice to use tidus as a model in another game!!!

Yes that's possible, but you have to rig them yourself. Or else you would just have a "floating" Tidus model, lacking any animations...

Somehow, I feel he wouldn't want these posted anymore. Yeah, sucks.

Spoiler:
definitely looks like CAD, seeing how he swept all his forum and blog clean and requested nothing be discussed anymore

hm. his tools are not illegal at all.
so i don't see a reason why i should't post them.
this is not a defamation but yaz0r is a bit paranoid i think

and its not a solution when people PM me to send them the viewer.
i'm not a courier.

I'll upload the tools later.

Hmm, cool. Best grab your copy right now, "in case" this goes down due to "acts of god" or something
