dex drive saves?

I suck with forums, I hope this is the right place for this.

I have a dex drive and would like to use the saves that i ripped from my memory cards to open on my epsxe.I have copied the files over to the memcard folder and have set them as the memcard, but they dont get detected!? Also anyone else having troubles with the opening few sequences of FFT and FFIV? Thanks in advance
