Temporary in-game speed up?
I've searched and searched and couldn't find the answer to this. I was wondering if there is a way to temporarily speed up a game while playing it. There are some games that have very dialogue and boring parts, and I'd like to be able to skip through them quickly. If you use ZSNES, what I'm talking about can be done with the ~/` key.

if you're using pete's plugins there is a method which is a tad bit more complex, but im sure you can do it anyway, in game, press the delete key. it brings up (down?) the FPS display bar. press the End key to switch to frame limiting off. press it again to do the manual FPS limit. press it again to do the auto FPS limit (assuming you set it to that). so, you're playign the game at normal speed. press end and it goes fast. press end twice more and you're back to regular.

just like hushypushy... if you wanna boost up some speed, increase your FPS... thats what I usually do when things slow down... also slowing down the FPS can really do wonders too as cheat
