new digital cam *kick* -.-''
hi, i though i bought a cheap good camera ... and sure it makes very well photos... outside!! but when i make snapshots in a normal bright room i can only make nice fotos when i'm using flashlight. look at the example, three pictures in the same room (and i turned on my bright toplight) one with flash and two without o_O... it's not a big problem to use always a flash light in the room, but i have the same picture quality, when I'm using web-cam-function ;_; ... You know, human eye might not notice, but its always twice darker inside house than outside. Taking photo without flashlight inside produces dark picture except in bit more expensive camera's with those digital-mumbojumbo-picture-and-luminance enhancements.

I would really suggest investing a little bit more on a digital camera. The ones from Olympus or Canon should be good. There are some decent ones, but you still need to invest a bit of money into them.

Webcamns are probaply designed for getting brighter pics inside than normal digicamera, since 99% of all webcams are used indoors, (no s/hit sherlock ) where digicams are mainly used for outdoor pics. Flashlights helps in indoor pics though, but depending on camera, there might be issues.Yeah, Olympos digicams are really good for money. Middleclass (and priced) Olympos cams are generally not great at anything, but they are not horrible anywhere as well. They are as middleroad cameras as can ever be, meaning, you wont go wrong with them.

Does anyone know how to change the brightness settings of the cam? I tried already but the settings switched immediately back to default (while playing with the bars). Do I need to change the driver to a different cam or something like that?
