Glue?
I recieved my BFG 6600GT today and one of those tiny copper heat sinks were off!! (damn u fedex) It was still sticky so I placed it back onto the 2 chips but I was thinking maybe I should get the right glue and put some more on. Does anyone know the right type of adhesive to use? |

wipe off all that "thermal gunk" as it has separated, it only works well if if hardens in contact with both the heatsink and the GPU, as I-Chan said use thermal greese like Arctic Silver to restore proper contact between the GPU and heatsink, the pins on the corners of the heatsink shoud be enough to hold it in place, if the pins are damaged or missing replace your heatsink or use Arctic Epoxy
