The best Final Fantasy magic/effect/summon

OK, I've opened this topic to see whaddaya think about which is the best magic in ff serial. I don't know was it already posted, if it is then let admins erase it before it becomes very popular My list goes on like this:
magic:

ultima-ff8,ff7
flare-ff9
I'll finish it when I remember, I'm busy now

summons/GF's/aeons:
anima-ffx
maybe ixion from ffx, I'll thiink about this...
and so on... I'll finish it later

now let's hear your opinion

FF3: Bahamut works great

FF5: Bahamut again IIRC
FF7: The standard Bahamut can be strong enough, the other's take longer to summon
FF8: I prefer Bahamut over Eden, because I never liked the long time it took to show eden....
As for magic: I didn't use much magic, but Meltdown works great against certain enemies (the giant armor creatures)

I don't know much about the other parts of the series.

In every game the Flare and Ultima magic does most damage.

FF7 KoTR is stronger altho i cant remember it takes longer to summon tho
FF8 Eden is strongest.. and depending on how often u summon it the speed wil increase.
FFX anima as aeon, altho magnus sister pasado for low armor creature does more dmg than anima.
(btw FFX bahamut really looks stupid ! what was square thinking )

and for magic.. beats me really cant remember.. meteor/flare/ultima always been the most powerful spells.

About Eden I meant the animation takes way too long. Especially since on my PC version the framrate dropped a lot as well....
The same goes for the animation of KOTR.

i mean whats cooler than the god of dragons
but anima in FFX was also very cool

I think it's about how powerful it is, or at least which one you prefer to use. And I don't like KOTR because it takes too long. And it kills Sephiroth too easily as well He's already an easy to beat wuss.

I liked Bahamut from all the games, but a few others that stood out were Tiamat, KotR, and Anima.
As for spells, I was always partial to Demi

FF9's summons sucked ass and so did most of the magic. I mean, the best way to do damage in that game was with Steiner with Shock or Climhazzard. Ark, the supposed best summon, did maybe 5000 and Flare around 8000. I had vivi pretty tricked out in terms of magic-enhancing gear as well. But alright, Ark and flare (and ultima, but that's not a spell you're allowed to use) looked pretty awesome, as did some of the spells used by Necron.

I'm not getting this thread's topic... are you asking which summons looked the best or which ones were the most useful? To answer both...
Most useful summons:
FFIV: Bahamut
FFV: Bahamut
FFVI: Crusader
FFVII: Knights of the Round
FFVIII: Eden
FFIX: Ark / Madeen

Best Looking Summons:
FFIV: Bahamut / Leviathan
FFV: Bahamut
FFVI: Bahamut / Crusader
FFVII: Bahamut Zero
FFVIII: Eden
FFIX: Ark

the best one is FF7's chocobo summon. nothing like a childish AND weak summon.

The Fat Chocobo of FF7 is GREAT

I never saw it much... about 2 or 3 times out of hundreds of hours gameplay

Ultima's always the best, that's why it's called ****ing Ultima. It gets outshined by special attacks and summons in later FFs tho..

Ultima's always nice since it takes so much less time to cast than summons. And with an easy series like FF, thats what it really all comes down to: speed.
