I was in the New York Times

Normally I don't parade around being an open source advocate/zealot. However, when I heard about the Mozilla foundation wanting to purchase an ad in the New York Times to spread FireFox, I just had to get in on it! So, I donated, and my name got placed in the ad! (Along with thousands of others...)

I've attached an image showing where I was in the ad.

They also have a full pdf of the ad here.

Its in alphabetical order. Took my about a minute to find it.
My connection with FireFox? I only use it, and I donated to the Spread FireFox thingy. It was covered on Slashdot awhile back. Basically only those who donated had their names in it.

Great man! It's good to see there are some serious advertisement for this browser.

What's cooler, is they're now giving free posters out to everyone who donated because they screwed up and didn't e-mail everyone about the ad until the day after the ad. A lot of people were mad because they couldn't purchase the NYT that day, and had to back order it for more from the NYT.

What a waste of money
It's nice for the individual donaters. But the money would've been spend better if they just put the add in the paper another time
