Try using Alcohol 120% or CloneCD to make the ISO as they have presets for PlayStation ISO ripping (PlayStation for A120% and Game for CloneCD).

now is when you have to look for a ppf patch or make your own ones with peops cd-r plugin.

Done that I-Chan, tried several patches and made my own with the plugin. With a ppf patch EpsxE just shuts down. |

Explain a little more about it. Did you do the patch from the cd or from the image? It does NOT work if done from the image, you have to do it from the cd. Besides, be sure to load it with the same peops, as it doesn't really make a ppf, but something wich works the same, although it has to be loaded with peops. Just describe the whole process as detailed as you can, and i'll see what can i do.

I made the subchannel file from the cd because I knew it would work from the ISO. Then I tried to run the cd-rom and that worked fine(no ppf patch used). Next I tried to use the ISO but then I just got a black screen, so I used the ppf patch as well(so still using peops to load). The patch starts up but when I want to continue epsxe shuts down. Just to check the patch I used the patch with cd-rom and then it works fine. From run ISO in epsxe btw KanedA edit: and also tried the virtual drive from alcohol 120% Hope this is enough, if not just ask. |

It is, don't worry. Mount the iso in a virtual drive (daemon tools or alcohol 120% will be fine), and load it as it was a cd. If not, peops won't kick in . My fault for not telling it from the begining, sorry.

I saw a post from you about that earlier and tried the virtual drive in alcohol 120% (I did put it in my previous post). Doesn't work for me apparently.

Allright I found my problem. First I ****ed around with the settings in Alcohol 120%, there are a few things u need to enable to load the ISO like it should. Sorry I did find them sooner, would have saved us all alot of trouble. And not using the damn ppf patches when u use a virtual drive cause the patches screw the whole thing up. Thanks to all of you for helping me out. Do feel a little silly for the trouble
