I believe you have to install windows 95 and then xp. but you would need to set up 2 paration. I'm pretty sure windows doesn't have that built in so your going to have find something like paration magic, or a linux distro.

You indeed most likely would have to use 2 partitions and insall that way.
The 95 CD probably has fdsik on it with which you can create the FAT patition, but you are probs better off loading up the XP installer to partition then quitting to install 95, then installing XP

I think you can use xp's boot loader to do dual boot. Try installing 95 then XP. (this works with 98 for sure)

This Microsoft article explains it all.

Install the operating systems in the following order:
MS-DOS
Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows Me
Windows NT
Windows 2000
Windows XP

If you really want windows 95 THAT badly, I'd load it up in VMware or something....

Windows 95 with XP might be a little tough, but far from impossible

Install 95 normally on a FAT partition
Install XP onto a NTFS partition
Try to avoid using the XP bootup manager...use this instead: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gag

You really should install Windows 95 before you install Windows XP, so I would recommend that you uninstall XP, install 95 and then install XP again.

Windows 95b and up support FAT32. I have a dual boot with Windows 95 and Windows XP. I have Windows XP on my "C:\ NTFS" and Windows 95 on "E:\ FAT32".

It is possible and very easy to do this. You just need the right documentation. But nobody ever listens to me anyways. Instead everyone says that 95 must be installed before XP.. Bla Bla Bla. Well it's not true at all. You can still have Windows XP on your C: drive with NTFS. The thing is here is that it has to all be installed on the same physical hard disk, you just need a couple of Primary partitions.
