A bit annoying problem in Win98

I have a bit annoying problem in Win98: There appears empty gray boxes to the taskbar. This appears in several situations:

-Every time I use MGI PhotoSuite program and see picture on full screen.
-Every time screen saver is closed.
-Sometimes without no reason.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
