Need Help for FF IX
Hi there ppl, I really need some serious help here... I'm current playing Final Fantasy IX using PCSX, and there is a problem. I'm in lindblum castle at the place where I have to search for Dagger (she's singing). But once I walked towards her screen, which generates an FMV sequence, there is an error that says that: "pcsx.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. An error log has been created" This forces the emulator to shut down and happens all the time no matter how many times i restart my computer/pcsx. I tried to use the memory card save file on other emulators, but I don't know why, the latest save files are all corrupted, no matter how many slots i save them in. These are the specs I'm currently using: Plugin: Pete's D3D Driver 1.1.75 Author: Pete Bernert GFX card: SiS 651 Resolution/Color: - 800x600 Fullscreen - [32 Bit] Textures: - Default - Filtering: 0 - Hi-Res textures: 0 - VRam size: 0 MBytes Framerate: - FPS limit: on - Frame skipping: off - FPS limit: 75 Compatibility: - Offscreen drawing: 2 - Framebuffer texture: 1 - Framebuffer access: 0 - Alpha multipass: on - Mask bit: off - Advanced blending: none Misc: - Scanlines: off [0] - Unfiltered FB: on - Dithering: off - Screen smoothing: off - Full vram: off - Game fixes: on [00000a00] BIOS : scph7502.bin Computer specs: Windows 2000 Intel pentium 4 2.0GHz AT/AT Compatible 256 MB RAM Graphics card : not sure I would really appreciate your help for helping me to fix this problem. (i'm currently on holiday and i'm so bored and I want to play this game..... you see.... :P) Thanks a lot ppl.

Also, i don't think that the save states could be transfered as well, as ePSXE savestates require two files - one is the pic and one is the game save. The pic file is missing from pcsx. Anyway, thanks ppl for ur help. dogfeet, i'll try to get it to u asap, thanks!

i dont think you need the pic file. as i recall, that was only started as on epsxe 1.6.0 and even then it's not really a necessity. i'm not sure if your pcsx save state will work on epsxe though... i've never tried that. but it's worth a shot.
