firefox help

i have firefox 8.0 rpm installed on my system. Can i run firefox 0.9 tar.gz verion from my home directory without it effecting my 0.8 settings ?

Should work just fine. They renamed the profile directory from Phornix to Firefox in 0.9, so it should just make a new prefs dir.
