hmm.. ok I tried this on chankast alpha 0.1 and 0.2 and 0.2a
once it gets to in-game the graphics appear to 'spike' diagonally... does sonic require pixel shaders or something, coz im on a Geforce 4 mx 440 which doesnt have pixel shading support. Anyone had the same problems?

You really should search around some. It's a problem which plagues all nvidia cards. Nothing you can do about it at the current time.
