Yeah, KOTOR seems nice, played it a bit 2 days ago, even if I'm not much of a PC RPG gamer, I kinda liked it

1999 according to the box

Yes, SW:KOTOR is damned good
I wasn't a fan of Neverwinter Nights for some reason, but in theory it' in the same mould.

i heard that you can play with one character only (no group like in baldurs gate and icewind dale) if so, that would really suck ithink.

You can only control your main character, but you can have at least one other person in your party. SW:KOTOR you can have 3, fully contollable.

Arcanum, it's in the same mold as fallout, in fact, some developers of fallout made that game, it's a great game.

I also recommend Dungeon Siege and SW:KotOR

so KOTOR is a full fledged rpg where you get missions and sub-missions and interact with other npc s and can you build your characters with level ups and all that?

morrowind is a great game. Yes, it has a main quest and a story that goes along with it. But there's so much you can possibly do, the main quest is almost always put aside to just have fun and live life in the world of morrowind. The game is designed so you can leave the main quest whenever you want and go back to it whenever you want. The amount of sidequests are mind boggling.

Maybe u should try out Temple of Elemantal Evil? Well, its about the same kinda game as BG and IWD, but its in turn-based style. Could give it a try
Graphics is better than BG and IWD as its a newer game, storyline no where near as impressive as PT, gameplay time aint as long as BG and IWD. But nevertheless, its a playable game.

and the Add-on mods that anybody with alittle knowledge can make or edit other folks makes Morrowind kick ass. The Main Quest is too easy and you'll find that out once you've "beaten" the main quest. The Mods are what you will drool over with anything ranging from naked elves to Lord of the Rings sets.

Planescape Torment is THE game for you It features the same gameplay as BG and IWD, awesome story and lots of intelligent (and funny!) dialogs. I just love this game!
