Unable to run on my comp (see specs)
Well I just borrowed Marvel VS Capcom 2 from my friend and tried running it. To my surprise it runs at 5 fps! Wow, this emulator has high requirements. Here are my system specs. My computer isn't exactly a powerhouse but it's not low-end either maybe except for the video card. Athlon XP 2500+ 512 DDR333 RAM Abit NF7-S V 2.0 ATI Radeon 8500 Can some people who have the emu working at a good speed post their specs? Thanks. |

Ok I've test marvel vs capcom 2 but i only get around 45 fps in battle. Is this due to limitation in my cpu or video card?

What kind of speed were you expecting? It's 0.1 Alpha version ya know.

I get fairly good FPS in MvsC2 on my system. 50-60 fps most of the time. Compare your system to mines.. Your FPS looks fine to me for the system it's running on.

I bet you'll get better results upgrading your video card, and not your cpu.

Yes, Im one of them, I run MVSC 2 at 75/60 fps, with sometimes 50/65 fps at the most high count sprite/polys moments. There is this hiccup at the "versus" screen, and nothing more. I have an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ @ 2ghz , 512 DDR ram, Motherboard ASUS a7v8x , Winfast Geforce 4 MX 440 64 DDRam @ AGP 4x, latest directx 9.0b, latest NVIDIA drivers (56.72), and Win XP pro corporate edition, SP 1. Oh, and one important thing when running chanka: you should all set your virtual memory page file to 900-1200 mb.
