Wow Wine is really kool. i've manage to get these programs to work flawless on fedora core 1:

ABC (yet another bittorrent client) 2.6.5
Bittorrent 3.4.2
burnatonce 0.99b
CDex 1.51
DVD Decrypter 3.2.1.0

Shareaza 1.8.10.8
UltraISO 7.0 ME
WinMX 3.31

What other programs have guys gotten to work on wine ?

There are native bit torrent and cd burning/ripping clients for Linux you know.

I think ABC uses a program language called Python, which runs on Linux anyway. At least that's what I read.

yea i know linux has its own programs, but since im still a learning linux. i'd like to still be able use some of my fav win apps.

Well running windows apps in Wine will not 100% usable like run it in windows. I experience apps crashed while run it with wine.

BTW, have you tried to ran VBA with wine. its works.

While it is true that not everything works in WINE, I do understand his point. It can be fun to try and get your entire old Windows setup working in Linux with WINE.

Whats really fun is if you program games/software and try to see what works and what doesnt on wine. Actually its pretty dorky but it floats my boat at least for a few hours lol
