FF9, changing discs
I've got yet another problem with FF9 ... After disc 1, it tells me to change disc ... I press Esc, File->Change Disc->ISO and the game switches back to the "change disc" screen .. I hear a plingsound and the screen fade black ... (just as it should, I believe). However, the black screen won't disappear, and the game doesn't start .. How come? Do I have a currupt CD2 ISO? I've tried starting from disc 2, and load the save called "starting disc 2" which I made before switching discs at disc one ... Still doesn't work, the screen goes black and nothing happens .. what happens when you try to use the real disc 2 to load the save from the end of disc 1?

Daaaamn, a friend has my discs atm .. Convinced him to play through the game Anyway, if it works with the real disc, then the ISO is currupt, if not, the CD is currupt? Not mutch scratches on it .. None that should make any difference .. Edit: Can my friend make his own ISOs from my discs? Instead of borow it, I mean ... |
