Ape Escape Freezes Up

i get up to the screen attached then it freezes up. the music still plays and the guy chasing the monkey still chases him. but i cant move the cursur. everything seems to be set up fine for the controller. disk came up fine with no errors when i ripped it.

Try pressing "F5" when you reach that screen, then move the cursor.

Does your pad work with other games? Have you tried it in other modes? Can you handle the emu with the keyboard?

Then, sorry, i cannot help you further... well, i didn't help at all xD . Maybe you should try another emus, maybe different pad plugins, and check how does it behave in them. If it happens in every emu, you are probably out of luck; otherwise, there might some possibility regarding configuration...
