Daemon Tools not working?

When I mount an image (any image) in Daemon Tools, it puts the cd in the drive, but it doesn't mount the file system. (Windows explorer thinks there's no cd in the drive, but the game does think the disc is in the drive.) Daemon has worked before on this computer; I'm not sure when it stopped working. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but it still doesn't work.
Can anyone help me?
