How long did it take to make the PS1 emulator?
I know the ps2 is much more complicated, but just for the record, does anyone know how long it took to make the psx emu from the time the emu idea came around to the time it was distributed publicly mostly bug free? That way I can get a slight hint of the time frame. Thanks. edit: hmmm maybe this should be moved to playstation 1 forums. |

It took a number of years (i dunno 4-5 years or was it less?). But as for ps2 emulation reaching the level ps1 emulation is, it'll be quite a while (which is unknown how long that will be).

I remember using ePSXe somewhere around '98 I think. It didn't work well for me back then. Now, in 2004, it's pratically the best you can find. BTW, Welcome to Emuforums.
