Problem with video file
I downloaded this avi file but whenever I played it, only the audio part appeared. This file is using the Ms-Mpeg4 v3 video codec. I installed the 4.0.0.3688 version of the codec, restarted it a couple of times, but still could not get it to work Any suggestions?

try installing other versions of the codec. Maybe its actually encoded in DivX or XvID

Try installing FFDShow Alpha

try playing it in BSplayer or Media Player Classic
