Well, I do do this, but I generally don't mess up in the first place. .....I have some kind of innate super-grammar/spelling/english capability.....kinda' creepy really.

And aerith099, that guy IS a jackass, but you definitely should have stood up, walked over to him, and kindly asked him to take his inconsiderate loud-mouthed ass outside.....after all, it is your money being wasted if you can't hear your professor (who most likely doesn't care all that much whether or not you pass the class, if you hear him, or even if you like his red-and-yellow plaid wool sweater.....ok, that one's a bit personal, but..... .....). If he ignored you, you could've probably complained to the university about his lack of consideration for his fellow classmates. I don't know if they would've done anything about it, but most school-type administrators generally are easy to prod into action, at least when it comes to punishing students.

There are quite some interpretations, and this one is yours. I'll leave it open for discussion for anyone who even cares beyond this point, which excludes me.

You're saying that as if no mature person ever makes a stupid move from which we all could learn from. You don't know what else was on his mind, do you?
As I pointed out earlier, quite some people are dense and we have to accept that fact since they can't help it. If those people don't get their wrongdoings pointed out, it'll end up as more irritation at the next iteration for people like you and me.

If people like to complain behind one's back, and DO have the guts to tell one's mistakes to one's face, but choose not to for whatever none-death-threatening reason --including yours--, then I call that an anti-social act and is considered no different to me than what your jackass did. I care, because we suffer indirectly from it. Not that much since it's insignificant, but damn!-If-it-only-wasn't-true, irritation builds and I should know.

No, instead, thank you, for showing how much you think to know about a person, only to label him/her as a(n) [insert random insult here] or, in my case, a player of philanthropy.
It shows how much I should value your judgement.

Anyway, do what you will. If my advice, reasoning or constructive criticism is to be wasted on ego and pride, I'll leave your playful topic be. I've made my point, and there is no way I'm going to try and touch pride over something as trivial as a forum.

...I think he's still a jackass. But I suppose I would be the jackass if I tried to convince you of that, so we'll compromise: He may not have been aware of his jackassedness, so he's an inadvertant jackass.

58 Female clothing sizes. My closet right now contains clothing between a 2 and a 9 (US sizes.) That's a pretty big difference. Why oh why can't they just standardize it?

You know what a sure-fire way to get rich would be?? Come out with a women's clothing company called "Size 2". What woman could resist buying a pair of jeans that say "size 2" on the back?? (If you haven't figured it out by now, women aren't much more complex than men.)

Yeah, you may be right. I have been pondering about it for a while and came to the conclusion that, from a certain POV, women are humans as well. It may sound crazy but sometimes it makes sense ^^

To me you wouldn't, as I'd enjoy it, even if my choice of words seem too serious/harsh. I like the compromise though , but this all shows that in the end, it's just another dull & old matter of opinion scenario.

I'll say no more about it.

59.Fvckers who yell obscene things at women from their car windows. Especially when it's late at night and dark and rainy out, and the girl is all alone. What a jerk. (did this just happen to me? Yes, not five minutes ago.)

Do any of you guys actually do this? Does it impress you when other guys do?

RE: Fvckers who yell obscene things...

Ever since "Girls Gone Wild" videos popularized it, there are a lot of lamentable "Show us your tits!" remarks casually yelled from passing male-idiot car windows come summer days...

Suggestion: Carry mace, a taser, a machete...

RE: Fvckers who yell obscene things...

I haven't and won't ever do this, but I once heard some catcalls from a group of college males when I was talking to a female classmate. I (and doubtless she) was not impressed. I don't see the appeal of yelling out your car window for any pointless reason.

Like GALVATRON, I think carrying around a nifty defense mechanism of choice is wise late at night. In my city lone female pedestrians late at night end up appearing in the newspapers the following day. Most of the time the yellers are just cretins with no maturity, but sometimes they're cretins with no maturity who want something.

See, I attend a low-cost university that accepts literally anyone who applies. This includes working class families, kids that grew up in this city or in the surrounding rural towns, middle-aged workers who want to earn their degree, and most obnoxiously, rich jerks who are too stupid to get into private school.

I don't do stuff like that, but then again I'm not exactly the type for it.....and I think it's ridiculous (although if done right, can be incredibly hilarious.....most of the time it's just lame, though.....)

I doubt any of the people here would be the type for it. We're more interested in playing games (emulated or native) or spending 5 hours writing and debugging 400 lines of code.
