My younger sister found this too... I find this amazing. All I can say is, I want one once the bugs are ironed out. Of course I wouldn't use it for bad things imagine the possiblities ![]() http://stacks.msnbc.com/news/928433.asp#BODY

Now THAT sounds cool! Just think, we might finally be able to have those transparent paper-thin display panels you see in so many science fiction movies. Or even "holographic" projectors. Just project an image onto a box or sphere of that stuff.

I like the idea, but I dont think it will be completed easily, if not completed at all. Nonetheless, I shiver at the thought of military uses. Humans keep abusing what they create -_- Yours, -Elly

stealth tank from C&C anyone? nothing like an invisible tank that, once gets close, unleashes twin rockets. but, yeah, it won't be easy.

Re: will invisiblitity cloaks soon be a reality?
I've seen it before. Not that useful when you see how much technology you need just to to make one man transparent. For example, take this: "To an observer wearing a special head-mounted projector, the object appears semitransparent.". So you won't be invisible unless you convince everyone to use this "special head-mounted projector"
