Are you using ePSX version 1.6.0? Try 1.5.2. Version 1.6.0 has some issues with CC

epsxe 1.60 does work with CC but you need to enable the "Odd/Even Bit Hack" under the special game fix option.

Re: chrono cross

wow it works !!!

jsut added "-noauto" to espxeCutor cmdline and started a new game and it works! the odd/even bit special game fix is not even needed.
the intro movie is shown and the game continues at normal speed afterwards!
thanx for the tip.

*hastily adds this to his Chrono Cross config page*
Any chance this might help with the FF9 MDEC issues?

Re: chrono cross

It's a random thing. Sometimes the FMVs cause the emu to crash. It's not easily reproducable from what I've heard tho. Sometimes it happens constantly on your machine, maybe you'll never see a problem throughout the game.

Re: chrono cross

because galtor is an emu author, emu authors get 8 red stars regardless of post counts, and yes this is rather offtopic

Re: chrono cross

emu author

emu=emulator
author=creator/writer

that has to be one of the single oddest thing i could ever hear on an emulation forum
