pc case suggestion
guys, im planning on buying a new case. im having a hard time looking for a cool looking one with good features. im not familiar with the good brand and models. i know about xaser 3,globalwin, lian li,but thats all i know.i just bought a dvdrom, so most of my money was put in there. but i already have some money, $50-100+, i think i can save until a little over 100+(for a very good reason though, like a very cool case).ofcourse chepaer ones are welcome too. i will appreciate it if u guys can provide me with links(with pics pls). if i cant afford(or cant find)a good one, then ill get sb live. thanks in advance saw CS-10182-BA from enermax(not sure)looks nice

Re: pc case suggestion
Chieftec Dragon. It's what most cases are based on, and it is cheaper.... Or get a Antec 1040B Performance tower case (also a dragon clone).. Both cases have a good PSU(antec has TruePower)

Re: pc case suggestion
i personally like ther new thermaltake xaser III cases (not II). they come with 2 side fans, 2 back fans, 2 front fans, and 1 top fans (perfect for exhaust as heat rises). the only other case i like is the Aspire X-SuperAlien Black because that case has a removable mobo tray. both cases are full tower

Re: pc case suggestion
Xaser's only advantage is the added Hardcano (temp. monitoring, fan control, HDD cooling), the Silent power PSU, and that it's based on the best case out there(Chieftec Dragon)... It's just a souped up dragon.... Id' better go with a dragon for price IMO..

fenris-wolf , the case in the link you posted is identical to the case I have except for the design on the front. If I am correct, that case, like mine, is a Raid-Max case. It comes w/a 420 watt PSU and has the clear window on the side so you can see in. It comes w/3 case fans already installed and the PSU has two more fans for a total of 5 fans. I bought this case because of cooling issues with my CPU (a Barton 3000). But now with the five fans, plus a few more that I had, cooling is no longer an issue. I highly recommend this case, everyone who has seen it likes it and I have all sorts of neon stuff inside that lights up when it is on. Lastly, the 420 watt PSU handles my Barton 3000, GF FX 5900 Ultra, and all my other hardware with ease. sincerely, sx/amiga |

Re: pc case suggestion
The case fenris wolf posted is a chieftec dragon (or it's a clone)...
